This app is great. The visual design and the concept is what Im in love with, unfortunately, the whole time Ive played this app I STILL havent gotten to any point of unlocking any other stage other than the first stage it comes with. I PAID for this app and I believe other modes should be unlocked ALREADY so that Im not bored struggling with the same map over and over.

This is one of my favorite games and is wonderfully designed and the sound track is sooooo good plz get it if you havent yet :)

If you like "runner" type games with no objective, purpose, or rewards then this game is for you. The game is NOT addictive, rather it is frustratingly difficult. Graphics are nice tho.

Brilliant!!!

This game is too hard. After a month I still cant get past the first level, which starts as hard. Cannot unlock other game modes or change difficulty. Thus it gets boring after a while.

Amazing game. Absolutely amazing. Except for the sensitivity.. -_- It is wayyyy to high! I can hardly play the game on my iPod 5. All I need is a little sensitivity slider and will change to 5 star.

One of the all time great tunnel runners. The only reason I didnt give it all five stars is that it gets too difficult too quickly. It needs a novice level to make it perfect.

Its a runner, okay? But what a runner. The ambience will appeal to any sci-fi fan, the pace is crazy fast, and the music is fantastic. Youll keep coming back, guaranteed. I love this clean, simple gem. Grab it.

The essence of mobile gaming: Simple. Fun. Addictive. Alone is a great game.

Fun time. In the amount of time that Ive played this I have sometimes beaten other games, like prune and monument valley. That always pisses me off. This game has replay value and its hard enough to keep you challenged. I havent yet gotten to 4000 meters on the first level so the second level is still locked. I keep dying around 3400. Thank you Alone for being challenging and fun. TL;RD

This game is a blast. You can have short sessions of one or a few tries that can get surprisingly successful or lose yourself and your eyes on it for a whole hour. The music and sound effects deserve to be heard on headphones. Graphics are vector designed, classy, and open up your imagination for projecting yourself in the survival of your capsule. Gameplay is nervous, controls are responsive, the game is challenging without creating frustration with the game itself : when you crash, your piloting lead to it, nothing else (eventually some bad luck with two boulders in a row). The experience of sound, graphics and gameplay combined allow for a surprisingly effective sense of immersion in a sci fi adventure of your own creation. Highly recommended.

I do not say that lightly. Ive played plenty of good games. Honestly, I take time out of my PC or console gaming time to play this. Youve gotta respect a game when its easiest difficulty is "Hard." Another point I respect is the amazing music that captures the theme and feel of the game perfectly. Id love to see some more tracks get added to the game now and then, and maybe the possibility to unlock new pods for aesthetic appeal, but thats just me. The game is perfect and worth the small price tag. I tell ALL of my friends about it and have gotten them all hooked as well. Thank you, LazerDog!

A beautiful game, Alone is a testament to fantastic design, meticulous crafting, and attention to detail. The designers at Laser Dog Games are truly dedicated to making something special, and with this title, they have fully succeeded. The twitch, refined gameplay is heavily addictive and exceptionally fun. I could write an entire review simply praising the gameplay, but in order to avoid sounding boring, I will sum it up in one word: awesome. There was never a dull moment in this game, and I would recommend it on gameplay alone, but that is only one of its many, incredible attributes. The graphical display is engrossing and with multiple beautiful backgrounds, I found myself wrapped up in the story they told and the work that went into coding them. The music is perfectly thematic and thrilling, and really makes you want to play. Just one more time. That is the core of this gaming experience. It makes you, regardless of how many times you have failed, pick up your device again and relaunch. As the years go by and apps are removed, shifted, or added to my phone, one app will always remain. It will stay there forever, because Alone is not the type of game that you delete. Its the type of game that you experience, feel, and love.

Any true seeker of long term fun will be utterly disappointed here. Lots of peeps Paid to rate this high but less than hour til youre frustrated and delete it. But they got my money... Which was the only goal I guess.

The artwork, and music alone are enjoyable. The app is perfection. Smooth controls, just slide a thumb up or down. Lightening quick reflexes are possible. Really enjoy the art! Dont listen to the nay-Sayers. This game is enjoyable and like meditation, you have to have mushin (no mind).

Love it! Reminds me of SFCave from my Palm days, just more modern.

I bought this right after buying Downwell. I hesitated buying this in the past because of the perceived difficulty. In my opinion this game is not as hard as Downwell and the controls work better. Im addicted to both games at the moment, but I keep going back to Alone. I think replay value will end up going to Downwell but this game should not be passed up if you have any inclination to endless runners. Also, try turning your iPhone to portrait and running either top to bottom or bottom to top. I ended up getting longer runs in this orientation. I learned that from a previous reviewer

Love this game. I think it would be more intuitive if the ship followed my finger exactly, rather than the ship making larger movements than my finger. Could this be added as an option?

The graphics are beautiful and the music is amazing. However, the controls are too hard. They are either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. This is a major problem since it affects the gameplay, but it can easily be fixed.
